Art Recipients
The recipient organizations ArtGivers partners with have two things in common: They serve people who seek healing, and they are doing their good work in often spartan facilities. These are nonprofit organizations whose funding is dedicated solely to providing primary services like shelter, food, and basic healthcare. That’s why the ArtGivers model makes art available to them to own for free.
The quality and impact of the artwork we offer isn’t dictated by how much the organization can spend – it’s all accomplished, professional work created by emerging artists. We offer a wide range of styles and sizes from a broadly diverse community of creators, so organizations can choose art that best serves their particular mission, space, and needs.
The results are dramatically transformative. Institutional spaces become engaging, uplifting, more human environments. (In fact, every organization we’ve partnered with has reported an increased desire among participants to create their own artwork after viewing the installations.)
Below are a few examples from the rapidly growing list of recipients we’re collaborating with. If you’re interested in art for your organization or one we should know about, we’d love to hear from you.

“When we're with art, it gives us a chance to get out of our head, to get out of the trauma, and be somewhere other than in the pain.”
